Actually DYNATRON brood-bitches would also be a nice mix.

For example, SHIMA SHINE'S (whose sire is Barcia Bale) dam SHIMA SONG would be an interesting cross ---> CLICK HERE

Steve he started his career off as all breeders would want, a precocious pup who ran fast times at the meadows and then showed strength and versatility, his pedigree is first class, why can't he succeed at $770 he has to be worth a throw at the stumps

Perhaps Darren, Ryan and Sandro could run the ruler over him as well.

John

Will he get the opportunities to produce the number of litter for us to examine what lines he does/doesn't nick to?

I guess him being an elite stayer in the 2nd of half of his career is not going to help, we already know the answer to that

However, most breeders have been so anti-staying for so long up to now d I notice a lot of dogs racing that are starting to lose their ability to finish off their races over 500m

Virtually all staying males are being neglected and listed for the stud scrapheap whilst staying females are being treated like queens

Interestingly though a STAYER, Burn One Down recently produced the G2 WA Oaks winner Cobargo (out of another stayer, Qld Winter Chase finalist , Abby Normal), who ran down a bitch called Mermaid Monelli, who was already a FFA winning bitch at Cannington (29.72)

So there is some hope for breeding with stayers, both male and female

Those willing to do it in future, will hopefully be rewarded especially if one of the leading States, NSW can stop its obsession with sub-420m racing and start supporting longer distances

So John to answer your question, he is an interestingly bred sire, inbred to Luana Bale, inbred to Minnies Nikita and inbred to the Hallucinate and as you say a very accomplished sprinter before venturing over the longer distances

He won his maiden at The Meadows in 29.87 and then broke 30 seconds in every other sprint win at that track

There wouldn't be too many dogs who could boast that record

He also ran 29.34 at his first Sandown win

He then proceeded on his staying career where he won at Sandown in 33.88 and so on, eventually having 85 starts for 31 wins & 29 placings

Honestly, who wouldn't want a dog capable of those statistics

He is free of Black Shiraz, Awesome Assassin, Just The Best and alternative Brett Lee sires therefore, you could easily mate him daughters and grand-daughters of Collision, Bombastic Shiraz, Knocka Norris, Elite State, Surf Lorian as well as major Irish lines of Larkhill Jo, Sonic Flight, Premier Fantasy and USA lines of Kiowa Sweet Trey, Flying Penske, Gable Dodge & Molotov

His bloodlines lend himself to such experimentation that he could throw classy all distance dogs if given a decent chance

Thanks for that Sandro, I was having a look at Shima Shine pedigree and saw some similarities.

Strengthen his pedigree up through these examples and would be interesting to see what he could sire...
