Darren no disrespect to you. Ive been reading Brasch articles on breeding since early 90s. Therefore My thinking as been influenced by DB, also PAW and Savva I love looking at pedigrees ! Please note Im a chess player of 50 years plus so I am conditioned to analyse game openings and all the proven variations of that particular opening. So many parallels with chess and bloodlines but I wont bore you all. Note Im not a master just a strong Club player Also note i tell my customers that I cannot inform them how to breed but I can advise how to read bloodlines if they are interested. ( majority not interested)
Yes Ive no doubt Hurricane Paul is on the way. Note I do not dislike Paul coz weve never met. I somewhat pity him that he so easily gets eaten up by others opinions. ( what a waste of mental energy) his knowledge and experience is good but way too cavalier on forum IMO

Hard to fill in the gaps with posts going astray but anyway, we all do our best, we live and die by our results and thats about all we can do. As for paying for advice on sires, I think its a great thing as even just to confirm something you had in your mind, or to throw something up youd not thought of can only be a positive and people running such services have loyal clients so theyve obviously provided great advice. Not sure where the issue lies as if you dont like the service, dont use it. Dont need it, dont worry. Its a results driven industry. Too much damn jealousy in it, though, imo.

Breeding is hit and miss, always will be ! The very best breeders have failures ! That's why there are so many "Theories" in regards to breeding !
There is 1 common denominator in relation to the very best breeders, that is they manage the whole life cycle of the Dogs they breed !

At the end of the day, I believe most think along similar lines and its personalities that lead to the issues. Cant y understand why, though, as Im a fekken delight :) We have one common enemy and thats the antis. Imagine we directed our energy towards them?

I have to admit I enjoyed it more on here when Darren hadn't bred anything decent for over a decade. I was surprised as anyone when I got a real buzz at watching FLV and DF winning so handsomely. It kind of sucked I didn't have as nearly as much ammunition as when MLF was a flop. He's shown he knows what he's talking about, backed it with actions and produced successes. Between you and I, I can't wait to cheer home his next generation. After all I'll be able to say of course they are good. They are by the best sires in Australia and Ireland. Out of very classy bitches. A formula I've been spruiking ad nauseum.

If you are the bloke who used to sell Greyhound products at the Ipswich Auction we've spoken on a number of occasions. I would go up.and buy leads collars, muzzles etc for litters we had bred and reared. I thought you talk a lot of sense and picked your brain more than once.
