Kev you spoke of Fabregas's 1st 10 bitches well here are some more stats
6 were on their 1st litter
3 were metropolitan proven Dams
1 Non Metro proven
7 had won at 500m+ [very interesting stat this one]
2 were unraced
1 won a race
Zipping Jewel would be the standout along with Ritza Night still plenty of room for failure there yet all bitches but 1 produced to him not a bad stat

Origin in the first broke down badly and looked like a promising pup feel for it's connections

Scissor Queen had 8 black pups today. 4 bitches 4 dogs to Fabragas.
Couldn't be happier.

Still plan on the $7k price tag Ben?

Haven't decided Craig.
Probably only 4 or 5 for sale.

I notice he's well represented tomorrow in the Eric Thomsen maiden heats at Albion Park as well which is typically a pretty good sign.

No coincidence that he's been a VERY busy boy in recent times I don't think.

Has won the first two both by big spaces, nice advertisement for him on the day he went up to $2,200 due to full books and high demand.

What times did his pups run to win their heats at Albion Park?

I realise the market has changed. I would be interested to know what people think my Scissor Queen X Fabragas pups are worth?
Keeping in mind I sold her first litter to Magic Sprite ( 5 off 7) a very good amount of money considering it was her first litter.
She had 8 split 4 bitches 4 dogs.
Only 4 maybe 5 will be for sale

On face value pretty good money Ben,but what has she produced?I always wonder why people would spend big money on unproven bitches pups and let a proven producer slip past because perhaps her breeding or race track performances were average. They all start off once they finish racing all square again and although your bitch cries out she will be good in the barn she hasn't actually produced anything.

What you have said is very true. I guess time will tell.
Although in saying that Surf Queen is number 2 maybe number 1 now of the best producing brood bitch In Australia in 2014.
My bitch was far better performed on the race track than surf queen was, but doent mean she will produce a better quality greyhound racer.
Still the question remains what would be a fair price for her fabragas pups now that they are hitting the tracks with some very impressive times?

Thanks glen. That's a start but I do doubt it.
Believe it or not it's not all about getting as much as I can either.
That could smack me In the face later.
Looking for a fair price for all parties.

If there ever was a candidate to produce it would be your bitch Ben.
