Ben.......To me it's pretty hard to form an opinion on a sire that's only produced his first city winner, 4 months ago in August.

But before tonight, from slightly less than a 1000 races over the 520m at Wentworth Park in 2014 over A1 & A2 races meetings (plus including Shakey Jakey's record), ARE JIP (x Fabergas) posted the 13th fastest time running 29.48.

That's a top 1.3% of runners for the year.

Not a bad effort for a first season sire after giving the others sires, 2/3rds of the season start.

I should also state, recently a journalist (who I admire) wrote some silent whispers about a sire which I thought was a bit harsh especially to those that are clued up.....but in saying this he's entitled to his opinion as I'm entitled to mine.

Normally and I'm talking at a profession level too, I wouldn't suggest such innuendo's this early in a sire(s) career as there's to many scenario's that can come into play..........but after a full 12/18 months, its game on.

Regards...........Steve

Steve the litter can all run and this is the dam Lady Cargo's first litter at the ripe old age of 7. I believe they only bred the litter on the success of her litter sister Miss Taro first litter to Goodesy which produced 2 groupone place getters and over 80 TAB wins

Yeah I jumped the gun LOL

They originally said it was a track record as 24.37 came up on the clock after the race

It was then adjusted to 24.77.

As I've stated before.
The wheel turns and next month the next flavour arrives and a active stud dog takes a step back.
I love Messi and will use him again and there's a few others that are half the price of what they can produce and a few others twice the price of what there worth so it's opinion based really.
I still believe that a superb brood is the building block to a superior litter.
