The last thing the irish breed needs is fabregas.
Look towards el grand senor, magic sprite or kilty lad if you want aussie chase

Hi Matt Why would you think he would be the last thing we need was looking for him to cover a head bound bitch.

every fabregas I have seen has been spooky and taken a lot to break in. if you have the right broodie he might be ok but the broodie would have to be extremely confident and hard chasing. once you get his pups on side they are great (but that can take between 1 and 12 months) and once they chase they can run (but that can take a long time too if it happens)

Hi Gary
In his first season of race dogs Fabregas has produced Group 1, 2 & 3 winners , stacks of city winners across the nation & thrown some freakishly fast dogs across all distances.
This season he should improve his stud record even further as his 2nd crop reach racing age. Without a doubt his popularity in Australia continues to rise with a fast new pup appearing nearly every week.
I have bred two litters to Fabregas & have not had an issue with chase at all. Also, he has given my pups great confirmation, including some beautiful 28/29kg bitches from smaller broodie
The fact he has Larkhill Jo in his damline I would be surprised if he wasn't very popular & very successful in Ireland.

Hi Matt
Maybe you have had a bad experience with Fabregas through a purchase of one of his pups?? In getting a balanced argument could you let people know how many pups you have seen that have these traits. You sound like you've had extensive experience with a few, possibly some of the discredit would be damline? Not sure. Not trying to argue or disagree with you, I just like the facts when people make statements. Obviously I like Fabregas & have had a favourable experience with him (so much so that I think I'll do a repeat mating), so I have a few facts for Fabregas after his first season at stud;
2nd in Wenty sires premiership. (Only a few wins off Collision with over 100 less starters.) Finished 5th or 6th in Australia for winners with best winning strike rate.
Got 3 or 4 Group 1 winners last year
.... and already this year 4th on the AGRA sires list with another through into Group 2 Shep Cup with the fastest qualifier.
Not bad for a sire in their first full year at stud.
As I said , not knocking your opinion, just giving a few facts to refute your claims.
Jmo

im not trying to bag out fabregas as a sire but I have seen or heard simular about 20 plus pups easily. this is out of broodies that have city class pups from previous litters.
As I have said though, once you get them on side he throws a great pup, but Glen if you have had no issues with his pups being sooky you must have a unbelievable broodie and you will have some fun with the pups because once you get the pups on side and chasing they can run some serious time.
