Hi all
Just wondering how much water your healthy female greyhounds would drink in a day in pleasant April weather.??? When training and also not training.
By day i mean in a full 24 hour period.
I just need something to compare with.
Thanks :)

Im on mid-north coast of NSW and without being strictly observant, mine drink about half to three quarters of a litre each. Closer to half most of the time.

Thats correct Michelle, we normally worry about our dogs drinking too much water but dont often think if their getting enough. Soaking of kibble and introducing good quality water ( preferably tank) in various ways can be beneficial and is better than any electrolytes which are best given sparingly IMO. Cheers

Thanks guys
My bitch has gone from hunting for water down to about 2 litres a day, now down to around 750ml a day. Just trying to get an idea of what is normal.
I have been filtering it too in case that helps.
