Hi all. Today i found a tick on my greyhound. It was small and round (half a grain of brown rice) Grey in colour with brown legs. The dog seems fine but she has red streaks in her ears on the same side that the tick was on. I have removed the tick. Vets are closed until Tuesday. Any ideas? Shes eating and seems ok. Many thanks

If its small and not full of blood it should be safe
Ensure that you have also extracted the head as it can detach
But make sure you give your dog a good bath with a flea/tick wash to try and kill off any others and to make sure buy a flea/tick repellant like Nexgard and give that to your dog and it should kill off any that you have missed as that will kill then as they bite into your dog
