You lost your ante post bet on Tapwatcher (odds on fav) by a short head?!? ...to a 14/1 shot that was drawn on his inside.

correct to some extent lynda .....backed tapwatcher at 10/1 at the start of the derby . but not the reason (well not the only reason) why that result was total BS ......i'll give the full answer tonight just wanna leave it for a while just incase anyone was around at the time .....or have heard the story about the 87 derby

i may as well put you out of your misery peter
till the day i die i'll stick by this and say Tapwatcher won the 1987 derby ..too much underhand stuff went on that night 1) bookies on the line rearly get it wrong when betting on photo finishes at wimbledon .....the 3 that were betting were going 1/6 tapwatcher all the others were going no offers 2) the owner of signal spark who was a big owner at the time (bit like JT now) was seen coming out of the racing managers office before the result was called which took at least 15 minutes (felt like more) 3)and most important IMO is NO ONE has ever seen the actuall photo finish print ...anyone that has ever been to wimbledon knows that all prints of photo finishes are put up outside the racing managers(or judges) office as soon as result is called that one never did appear (not even at the next meeting )
there's other thing s too but i'll leave it at that because i wanna forget about it for another 28 years now

thing is peter the english 87 wasn't rumour.... list would be endless if i included the rumours that were going around , one person claimed he saw the photo and the 4 dog had to be a relative of pinoccio his nose was so big lol ......i've even written in to RPGTV about it but they never discuss it or reply
just wanted to add tapwatcher brought alot of it on himself by totaaly missing the break that night , in all the heats the race was over by the 2nd bend , final night he wasn't even in the first 3 rounding the 2 bend
