The Brandywell Greyhound Supporters Group (BGSG) Spring Bonus.

There will be a 50 prizemoney bonus for one race at each of the four race meetings in March, specifically for BGSG members only.

The race will be selected by a draw at each race meeting after weigh-in. The 50 will go to the registered owner of the highest placed finisher in that race whose owner is a BGSG member.

Owners in the selected race are only eligible if they were BGSG members BEFORE the race draw takes place. You can become a BGSG member for a 5 annual subscription.

Good luck folks.

The Keeperlit Gala Night

Monday 15th April 2019

We would like to welcome everyone to The Keeperlit Gala Night which marks the 1 year anniversary of the reopening of the new era Brandywell.

There will be 8 sponsored races with a first prize of 100*, Derry crystal trophy, presentation jacket, rosette and a Keeperlit Starshine collar/lead.

We have had fantastic support from all our sponsors for which we are very grateful. The races will be named as followed:

Ashbank Kennels & Dunaghy Kennels *feature race, jointly sponsored, 150 for 1st place. (Allan Power/Neil and Anthony Fuda)

Abrakebabra Kennels (John Berry, William Berry)

Clampett Kennels (The Brien Family)

Liltuc Kennels (Tanya Gardiner)

Marlfield Kennels (Richy Brannigan, Paddy Brady)

Mucho Macho Racing (Sean Hagan)

Timaru Kennels (Fionnuala Moloney Carey)

EXTERNAL LINK (Geoff Bateman)

We would also like to thank the people who have given us competitive deals on the trophies, jackets, rosettes and collars/leads. They will be acknowledged on the race card.

The Brandywell Greyhound Supporters Group has contributed 200 to the prize fund as the 1 year anniversary of the reopening of Brandywell is an important historic moment.

We would like to thank Kevin Perisi in particular for organising this very special night and for his own personal contribution of at least 500 to the overall prize fund. Kevin wants this to be a memorable celebration and has chosen top quality prizes to mark the event.

So Keeperlit folks and please come along and join us in celebrating our 1st anniversary.

Congratulations to the brilliantly named Pebble Dash (ex Our Pebbles) who won the final of the Seamus Conway Memorial 500 last night.

She produced a fine trap to line performance and dipped under 28 seconds.

Thanks to Speedy Joe who led the parade wearing his greyhounds make great pets jacket. Turned out immaculately as always by Stephen Radcliffe.

Thank you to Sean Conway for sponsoring the event and thanks to everyone who made the effort to support the meeting. Great turnout from the Conway family and friends. Im sure Seamus would have been very happy to see you all there.

Theres a movie of last nights highlights on the Brandywell Greyhound Supporters Group FB page.
