In the "court of public opinion" live baiting was deemed cruel and rightly so. It is an abhorrent old school training method we have and must moved on from. Regardless of how the evidence was acquired, these muppets deserve everything they got and more. Defending them on the basis of how they were caught is completely irrelevant.

No one is defending them dopey, just trying to defend our right to privacy on your own property FFS they have surveillance cameras everywhere, just wanting a break from them in my own home.
Just dont own greyhounds that might be the key

Ironic the last line of that article with how seriously they take the integrity of the sport with so many nonnies gracing the tracks everywhere. That alone implies the vast majority of participants are complying yet people still appear to be threateningly waving the stick at all and sundry. I'd be insulted if I were a participant. When is enough, enough ? Why are they still insulting the intelligence of the converted ?

The article sounds like they only seem to apply the word integrity to what will bring them the most accolades, rather than taking a holistic approach to integrity. No authority seems to want to tackle that.

With betting turnover figs Aus wide on greyhounds at $9.4 billion for 21/22 its vital integrity be looked at holistically to retain those numbers.

The whole situation as well as some comments by people in the article who shld prob know better is disappointing.

It's pretty obvious. Because there are still truckwits like the Murray's in the industry.

Dunno why I wld expect better, but it certainly doesn't make any sense insulting 99% of the industry by implying they don't take integrity seriously when they are clearly doing the right thing (1 case of LB in SA), and only the ptb that do.

There are f/wits in every industry not just the greyhound industry. Other industry's just deal with them and move on.

Oh my god. Now people are being "offended" because the industry is being strong on live baiting and claiming invasion of privacy because that's how they caught these scum bags.

That'll do me, the world has gone completely woke mad.
