A length at the start is worth 3 at the finish line. Nice win Jack. Be interesting to see if she can get further. Doesn't look likely on sectionals. But with time and the treatment, she just might get there.

What would you suggest Paul?
If you had a dog that hit the wall at 300m, what would you do?
You seem to knock everyone else, whether it's breeding, or supplementation treatment.
So do you just blame the sire, or the trainer, or the boxdraw, or anything else?
Or do you search for answers and try new things, like Jack has done?
Actually, have you got any dogs that we can all pass judgement on?
I don't think she'll get 500 either but she's had 2 starts and she keeps improving so who's to say she won't get 450m?

I imagine that when she races over 450 for the first time and gets run down, you'll be the first one to jump on here and sink the boots in.

She ran home in 13.87 today.
I've got a pup that runs home in 13.12
She's fast early Jack but she's not getting 500 mate.

Settle Petal, why the angst? I just noticed you said exactly the same thing.

Only top dogs can fly early and still run on. She is no champion but if you look through her family, I think she could get 450. She is still very young and under Jamie she will improve. what I like about my trainer he does like natural feeding & supplements without synthetic crap. Believe me, she was going around Warnambool in 23 about 6 weeks ago. I was thinking she might not make it. As Jamie said we figured her out. That's why I think she will continue to improve .I received a very encouraging message after her win from Michael Embrand pointing out some interesting things about the Aussies. If she can get down around 22.50 mark she will pick up plenty of cheapies and a bit later maybe something better. Cheers Jack.

You only have to look at The Roo to see with time and maturity they get stronger and can really blossom.

Sorry for getting off topic. Nothing to hide here Jamie. Happy to answer any questions.

I couldn't train a pig to be dirty. But here is what I could find online. I only really trained Sheza Dynamo for the 2 starts at Ipswich and Albion Park, before she went to Steve Withers in WA.

I haven't bred for a while now and haven't bred anything to right home to mum about. I have this bitch at home. She is going to Zambrora Brockie later this year. I'm not the breeder only her carer and whelper. I don't want to get fully back into the game until I have the time and facilities again to do it properly.

I like the answers Paul.
I wrongly assumed you were just another OPWND. (opinionated prick with no dogs)
But I'm so glad you are actually an OPWD. (opinionated prick with dogs)

All the best.

Fair call. I'll admit I was hoping for Outstanding Person With Dogs, but I can't dispute your assessment.

Sorry Jack, back on topic.

Cheers mate. She comes from a good family Alice Dooley, paua to burn.Tiffi, solar pack, Double twist TR Dapto.Feral frankly, good odds Harada, Mr Twister. cold twist . And I love the double cross of the great Paris match5/6.plenty of dogs of the year and brood bitches of the year.so a bit more than a myopic view shows Nellie is from a good family that all go over 500m That doesn't mean she will get 500 but I believe 450m with time. Jamie is a very good trainer and will get the best out of her. I remember a nasty pm from a so called smarty on here telling me It's a Roo will never win over 500 and would not win more than $15k.Cheers jack

The croc , will be nominated for the bool this coming Thursday hope she can go on with it other than being a good maiden winner.

Well, the Croc goes around at the Bool box5 race 10 Thursday in a really good field hope she can jump to the front and keep away from the carnage that could happen on the first turn with 4 really good beginners in the race. If the pink can get a clear run with a maiden win in (22.11 red hot) Should win so here's hoping for a bit of luck she could place. Has had an issue after her win 9 days ago.

Well not a bad run 3rd improving a length and a half.22.50 good run .and will improve on that run with a mid week gallop.. Jamie is doing a great job I think pretty soon she will be around 22.40 mark which will win races. As she matures she will lower that time..

Good to see Jack! I have her black booked as I bred a litter to Cold Twist (Crocodile Bites Dam).

My Pups look great (maybe the dogs a touch big) and are booked into breakers for mid October so watch this space. Congrats on the continued improvement and good luck at Ballarat!
