Good afternoon,

Would anyone be able to steer me in the right direction, as an owner/ breeder I dont get a lot of exposure to different tracks and I wanted to gain some general knowledge on track surfaces and sand requirements for our current tracks around Australia.

I have found some info on minimum particle size requirements but not a lot about what the penetrometer measurements are or should be.

Are there any recent studies available on this, or better still are there any trainers that get the opportunity to race at different tracks around Australia able to comment on what tracks have the safest racing surface and more importantly the reasons for it being the best.

Thanks.
