We all know that greys make awesome pets, but please know they are ideal as Therapy Dogs and Assistance Dogs. I am trying to educate people that greys can be perfect for this role.
I just had a message today from a grey owner, saying they just passed the PAT (Public Access Test) so that their greyhound has now qualified to be an Assistance Dog and has the same rights as a Guide Dog and can go with her owner to shops, public transport, elevators etc. Her owner has a progressive illness so he was able to train Libby while he was still able to.
Congratulations MISS LIBERTY (Libby) and her wonderful Mum and Dad.
btw - Libby also raced with 67 starts, 9 wins, 10 2nds and 7 3rds. An all rounder. I put a photo of her on the main Dog-Search.
